ביטויו של הקומיקס האוטוביוגרפי ביצירתו של מישל קישקה "הדור השני: דברים שלא סיפרתי לאבא"

הקומיקס האוטוביוגרפי של מישל קישקה, דור שני: דברים שלא סיפרתי לאבא, מציג את סיפור חייו כבן הדור השני לשואה בזיקה לדמות אביו ניצול השואה, האחר הקרוב אליו. הסוגה האוטוביוגרפית מתייחסת בהגדרתה לעובדות חייו של האוטוביוגרף, והאתגר המרכזי העומד בפניו הוא להפוך את מהלך חייו למילים ולדימויים תוך מחויבות לאמת העובדתית. מאמר זה עומד על המארג שקישקה יוצר בין האוטוביוגרפיה, השואה והקומיקס, תוך הדגשת הביטויים הספרותיים- פואטיים והאמנותיים-חזותיים שבאמצעותם מעבד קישקה את חומרי המציאות ברומן הגרפי. המאמר מתחקה אחר ארמזים אינטרטקסטואליים מתחומים שונים של התרבות, כמו מקרא, ספרות, קולנוע, ציור, צילום ומגוון אמצעים פואטיים המשמשים את הדימויים החזותיים, כמו חלומות, תקבולות ומטונימיות הממחישים מצבים אנושיים. דרך ההומור מתמודד קישקה עם היותו בן הדור השני לשואה ועם הדילמה המוסרית-אסתטית העומדת בפני כל אוטוביוגרף: חשיפת חייו הפרטיים של האחר בשילוב ביקורת ושיפוט. בתהליך של הזדהות, הבנה, חמלה וסלחנות כלפי אביו, שחווה את אימת השואה, צולח קישקה את הקושי האתי של חשיפת האחר ומגיע לאהבה ולפיוס עימו.
