סודות בין ספריו של מיכאל סגן־כהן

מאמר זה מציע קריאה פרשנית חדשה בעבודות שיצר מיכאל סגן־כהן (1944-1999) שבמוקדן ייצוגו של ספר פתוח. הספר יידון כאן כדימוי־על בעבודות ובספרי המתווה של האמן המשמש צופן לתפיסת עולמו האמנותית־אמונית. הנחת יסוד למחקר רואה בעבודות אלה מעשה ניכוס פרשני, מדרש חזותי לספרות יהודית מקראית וקבלית. פיענוח משמעויותיו של הספר כדימוי־על מתאפשר, אפוא, לא רק מתוך היצירות גופן, אלא אף מהמרחב הרעיוני והפיזי שבו התעצבו: הספרייה של האמן שהשתמרה בעזבונו, השופעת ספרות יהודית מאגית ומחקרים אודותיה. העיון בספריו של האמן עשוי לשפוך אור על עבודותיו גופן, ובד בבד לספק מבעדן עבור הצופים פרשנות המתווכת באמצעים חזותיים את עולמות התוכן של ספרות הסוד היהודית. הדיון יתמקד בשילוב שיצר סגן־כהן בעבודות אלה בין פירושים קבליים למעשה בראשית לבין קונספטואליזם בשדה האמנות ופילוסופיית הלשון והדקונסטרוקציה. יוצג כיצד מתלכדים שלושת העולמות הללו באורח אידיוסינקרטי לכדי חקירות ארס־פואטיות על אודות מהות מעשה היצירה, בהשראת ספר יצירה וספר הזוהר. אטען כי באמצעות ניכוס הפירוש הקבלי המקנה לספר התורה מעמד אונטולוגי־קוסמי, ראה האמן בייצוג הספר דימוי ארס־פואטי למעשה בראשית ואקט מעגלי החוזר ונשנה ביצירה האנושית. מהלך הדיון מוליך מן הברור והמדובר לעבר הברור והמדובר פחות, מהפשט אל ה"סוד", תוך התמקדות במהלכים האמנותיים והרעיוניים שמבעדם בחר סגן־כהן לבטא, באמצעות דימוי הספר, את מה שגלוי, את מה שמוסווה, ואף את מה שמבקש לעורר מודעות להותרתו סתום ובלתי ניתן לפענוח
